Dr. H. Barry Takallou is President and CEO of CRM Company which owns and operates tire recycling plants in California, Arizona and New York. CRM is the largest crumb rubber manufacturing company in the United States.

Dr. Takallou is an internationally recognized expert in the field of used tire collection, storage and recycling methods and markets for used tires. He has designed and constructed tire recycling facilities in several countries and is unique in the crumb rubber manufacturing industry due to his extensive experience in Asphalt-Rubber paving prior to establishing his first plant in 1997.

Dr. Takallou's interest in modifying asphalt with crumb rubber started when he worked for the PHWA prior to pursuing his MS and PhD in Civil Engineering at Oregon State University. Dr Takallou is a registered Professional Engineer in California and Oregon.
